Some users have reported getting an error 0×00000004 in firefox.exe while others have reported getting a message their system needs to reboot to complete the install.
Most of these errors are caused by firefox.exe or one of its core files getting damaged during the upgrade. Uninstalling Firefox 4 and doing a clean install should fix this issue. Please refer to the Fresh Installation section in How Do I Install Firefox 4?
